Sun Spots

Sun spots – also called age spots or liver spots (even though they have nothing to do with your liver!) – are areas with excess melanin that develop as we age and our cumulative sun exposure increases.  Sun spots are flat, and vary in color from tan to dark brown.  They do not pose a health risk, but many clients opt to have them removed for smoother, younger-looking skin.

Laser is an incredibly effective way to treat these areas.   The process is quick, minimally painful and results are seen within two to three weeks.  Some clients need two sessions for best results. With proper aftercare and future sun protection, the spots will not return.

After laser treatment, the areas will become darker and then scab and slough off, revealing smoother, more even-toned skin. The entire process takes up to three weeks, so if you have an important event or a photo shoot, please plan ahead!
